Join Metro State and Minneapolis College for a Veterans Day Celebration at Minneapolis College and over Zoom.
Enjoy food, drinks, and a presentation and discussion by Travis Zimmerman about American Indians in the military, and the particular role Minnesotans played in winning World War II.
Travis Zimmerman is a Veteran, author, member of the Crane Clan of Grand Portage, and the Site Manager of the Mille Lacs Indian Museum and Trading Post. He also hosted DeCoded: The Untold Stories of Native Veterans in Minnesota Whose Tribal Languages Helped Win World War II.
